Empowering, Inspiring, and Encouraging Others Through Endurance and Community - Running, Trail Running, and Endurance Events

The Egress Endurance Project exists to empower and encourage individuals battling addiction by helping them find an escape out of addiction through structured endurance-based programs, outdoor movement, intentional goal setting, and the strength of a supportive community.
Through endurance programs, events, and shared challenges, we hope to replace destructive habits with purposeful ones—creating environments where individuals can rebuild discipline, rediscover identity, and reclaim hope.
We believe every person is more than their struggle, and no one should have to fight their way out alone.
The Egress Endurance Project is made possible through the generous support of community supporters, organizations, businesses, and the participants in our events listed below.
By signing up for and participating in these events, you are directly helping us grow our mission of helping individuals find an escape out of addiction.
Thank you for standing with us and supporting this life-changing work.

Riley Trails 13.1, 10K, & Ruck Challenge
📍 Riley Trails Park | Holland, MI
📅 August 15, 2026
The Riley Trails Challenge returns for its 9th year, offering a 13.1-mile trail half marathon, 10K trail run, and ruck division through the wooded singletrack of Riley Trails Park.
This event is a great introduction to trail running, making it ideal for newer or first-time trail runners while still providing a fun and challenging day for experienced athletes. For 2026, the decision was made to remove the full marathon distance to better prioritize the safety and overall experience of runners, volunteers, staff, and the park community.
100% of proceeds benefit the Egress Endurance Project, whose mission is to help individuals battling addiction find hope and healing through endurance, community, and consistency.
Whether you’re running, rucking, or cheering others on, this event is about showing up, moving forward, and doing hard things together.
